My name is Katrina and I am a licensed Reading Specialist. I have a strong passion for literacy and encouraging all to be life-long readers. I have been teaching for 16 years with a BA in Elementary Education, a MA in Reading and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction with an ESL endorsement. I've also had extensive training in Orton-Gillingham, Structured Word Inquiry, Fountas and Pinnell, and remote teaching platforms for all grade levels K-12. When I am not working with students, I love to do arts and crafts with my daughter, play with my Rat Terriers and Chiweenie, and of course engage in a good novel.
